The Health & Wellness Expo, Registration and Packet Pick-Up will be located in the Dana Marina Plaza, across from the Dana Point Harbor, on the Northwest Corner of Dana Point Harbor Drive and Golden Lantern in Dana Point, CA Wednesday, November 27, 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Avoid the long lines on race day and register in advance! For those who do not pre-register, you can register on-site and/or pick-up your bib, t-shirt, and timing chip at the pre-registration site located in the Dana Marina Plaza across from the Dana Point Harbor on the Northwest Corner of Dana Point Harbor Drive and Golden Lantern in Dana Point. Thursday, November 28, 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Race day registration and packet pick-up will be held in the Dana Marina Plaza across from the Dana Point Harbor on the Northwest Corner of Dana Point Harbor Drive and Golden Lantern in Dana Point. Look for the registration signs. Arrive early to register, receive your materials and get warmed up before the race.
Yes, registration materials can be picked up for friends or family members. Friends and family of a participant may pick up packets on behalf of a participant only if they have a copy of the person's photo ID and waiver SIGNED BY THE PARTICIPANT (or participants parent if under 18). You may create a group or team within your Active.com to set up packet pick-up prior to the event.
Purchasing the 5K & 10K Combo race includes entry into the 7:00AM 10K race, and a 5K race of your choosing, either 8:30 or 9:30AM. You do not need to specify which 5K you will enter, your bib's timing chip will begin recording once you cross the start line for the 5K race and will only record one 5K race per participant.
There are no refunds for this event, but there are a few options! You can transfer your registration to another participant for a small fee. Login to your Active.com account to make this transfer. You may also defer your registration to 2020. Deferments must be made prior to event by November 26, 2019. Please contact staff at email@example.com or 949-496-1555 to process your deferment.

We do not allow dogs on the race course for safety reasons. Dogs are allowed within the Expo and surrounding areas, but runners with dogs will be asked to leave the course by our security team.
Yes, strollers are allowed in the 10K and 5K races. We ask that your child remain seated in the stroller throughout the duration of the race. We ask that participants with strollers start towards the back of the start line sue to safety concerns. This will not affect your race time, your bib has a unique tracker.

Directions to the Dana Point Turkey Trot in the Dana Point Harbor If you are traveling from NORTH of Dana Point: Take the I-5 south, exit Pacific Coast Hwy. Stay in the right hand lane of the exit ramp and go north on Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left onto Dana Point Harbor Drive and then left on Park Lantern. Orange County Sheriffs will be directing traffic. If you are traveling from SOUTH of Dana Point: Take the I-5 north, exit Beach Cities. Stay in the left lane of the exit ramp and go north on Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left onto Dana Point Harbor Drive (2nd signal) and then left on Park Lantern. Orange County Sheriffs will be directing traffic.
-Free 4-hour parking is available in the Dana Point Harbor, where you can also dine, shop and see the sites -Free shuttle buses will be continuously running on race day from Dana Hills High School at 33333 Golden Lantern, Dana Point, CA 92629 -Free parking is available in Dana Point along Pacific Coast Highway and in the Town Center area -Hourly parking and $15 single-day passes are available at Doheny State Beach at 25300 Dana Point Harbor Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629
-Both sides of Dana Point Harbor Drive will be closed from Golden Lantern and Casitas Place from 12:00am to 1:00pm. -West bound Dana Point Harbor Drive from PCH to Golden Lantern will be open all day. -East bound Dana Point Harbor Drive from Golden Lantern to PCH will be closed from 5:00am to 9:00am. -The Harbor will be closed from 5:00am to 1:00pm.

The Dana Point Turkey Trot does not offer any travel, expense, or appearance money. For consideration to receive a free entry, elite athletes must submit a complete running bio (last two years) to our Race Director at firstname.lastname@example.org. NO FREE ENTRIES WILL BE GRANTED PAST OCTOBER 1st. NO EXCEPTIONS. CASH PRIZE AMOUNTS 10K – Male 1 – $1,000 2 – $500 3 – $250 10K – Women 1 – $1,000 2 – $500 3 – $250 Our 10K and 5K participants are also eligible to receive an Age Division award for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age division for men and women.
Our Gear Check booth will be available on race day, located at the end of the Packet Pickup and Late Registration area. You may store your belongings in the gear check area, we do not recommend storing valuables in this area.
